Clyde BaumgardnerClyde received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and his Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois. He has been coaching successful business men and women in the Los Angeles area since the year 2000. In summer of 2008 he attended two weeks of intensive training to become a Christopher Howard Master Results Coach, Performance Consultant, and Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. In February of 2010 Clyde will attend Marcia Wieder's Dream University for one week to become one of her certified Dream Coaches.

While in college, Clyde worked summers as a refinery engineer for Standard Oil Company of California, Management Training Development workshop participant at Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical Company, and conducted a nation-wide customer satisfaction survey for Ford Motor Company on their Econoline truck.

Clyde worked for McDonnell-Douglas (now Boeing) as a Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering Project Manager which included a tour of duty in Japan. He married a Japanese woman and for three years worked in Japan for a Japanese company supervising 30 Americans teaching conversational English to Japanese businessmen.

Returning to the United States, Clyde started a company which built industrial scale models for such companies as Bechtel Corporation, McDonnell-Douglas Aeronautics, Braun Engineering, Universal Studios, National Steel & Shipbuilding, and TRW. He grew that company from a start-up to a $1 million a year business before selling his interest.

He spent 3 years working for his church, Self-Realization Fellowship, playing a significant role in construction of the Lake Shrine Temple in Pacific Palisades, California. In May, 2009, he was recognized and honored for the 20 years of his "devoted and loving service" as a lay leader of that church.

He has been a member of Century City Toastmasters for 10 years. In 2007, he was honored by the creation of the "Clyde" trophy, 'Awarded in Recognition of Exceptional and Continuing Service to Century City Toastmasters' and was its first recipient. Clyde has been a member of the Beverly Hills, Business Advantage Chapter of Business Network International (BNI) since 2008, and serves as its Events Coordinator.

Clyde has always enjoyed working with people and entered coaching so he could focus on using his "people skills" to help others take their successful businesses to the next level. He works with clients, helping them develop and use their personal strengths to achieve superior results. Clyde does life coaching with an emphasis on the business.
